Welcome to the Doherty Hungary newsletter.Since we wrote to you in December last year we have started some significant new projects at Doherty Hungary. We have ordered 3 new turning machines which will be commissioned in April. We have started the building work for our brand new QA department and we have started our preparations for the coil winding show in Berlin, in May. We completed 2010 with a 16% growth in business and our projections show a strong 2011. With this in mind we need to address all functions and resources in the business so that we can be prepared for and respond to our customers growing needs. The first step is to increase the size and capability of our old QA department. We will post pictures on Facebook of the building development. We know you are all busy so we will keep our news brief. However, if you want to know more please check our Facebook and Website pages or call us directly. We would like to hear from you and always welcome your feedback. Best wishes for a busy 2011.Jim Doherty
Purchase of new Citizen machines.Jim Doherty and Addlen Trabelsi (Citizen Europe) shake hands on the purchase of one new Citizen A20 and two new Citizen K16's. The machines are due for delivery in April. Jim Doherty commented "the A20 is needed for brand new business, one K16 is needed to support additional volumes and the second K16 is to replace older, less efficient machinery. Citizen machines work well for us. We have been using them for about 15 years and now, in Hungary, we find the service and support from Citizen Europe very reliable and efficient."
CWIEME Berlin, May 24-26DH is going to exhibit at CWIEME Berlin in May this year. This will be the third time we have exhibited at the coil winding show and we look forward to meeting as many customers, business partners and friends as in previous years. Last year we met all of the new business prospects we were working on and over half of our current customers. This year we are going to be presenting more of a "flavour of Hungary" so if you want to come and do some business or just drop by and sample some Hungarian Tokai, Kolbas or Palinka then you are most welcome. We look forward to seeing you in Hall 2.2 stand 3216 in Berlin, in May.
