This is our 1937 Rudge “Ulster” 499cc motorbike. In 1937 you could buy this motorcycle with a100mph guarantee!

It now sits proud in our showroom in Oroshaza as a reminder of the long history of our company. It has the original “Doherty twistgrip” throttle. Originally we made cycle and motorcycle accessories and Rudge was one of our customers. The black and white photo is from a motorcycle exhibition at Earls Court in 1953.
