Interview with Mr. István Pataki, Commercial ManagerLength of employment at Doherty Hungary: 3 and a half yearAge: 38 Favourite food: Fish Soup Favourite drink: dry red wines Favourite sport: tennis, skiing - Last year as part of the Doherty Team you were at CWIEME Berlin. What was your impression about the Show? - This show is very important for us as this is the biggest show for our main target sector, the electro motor builders. So this is a real opportunity to introduce the company to the industry and make live contacts with your future buyers. - Tell me about a day at the stand! - The stand is really very busy all day long, the average number of the visitors is 30 / day. This means that 3 of us on the stand had 10 contacts per day which all be registered to our register book. - How do you prepare yourself for the show? - I do 50 push ups every morning. - What do you expect from this year’s Show? - Based on the experiences of the last 2 shows I participated I expect the same or even bigger interest on our stand, as the industry nowadays is showing a growth, and the interest for the suppliers in our region CE is getting more and more highlighted. - What was the most memorable moment of the Show? - Every moment was memorable, because I like the atmosphere of the shows. - How do you like Berlin? - For me Berlin is the most liveable capital in Europe. It has an atmosphere of a small town, no traffic no traffic jams, all green and calm and of course very nice beer gardens during the summer. - Last year the Show was at the same time as the Word Cup. Which team did you support? - Germany, I had the opportunity to watch the Germany- Ghana match on a terrace with German supporters, we got along well at the end. - If you could organise the Show how would you do it? I think the organization is rather good, but I think the catering should be better as the restaurants were too busy and I think the wireless internet service were over charged, it should be free of charge for all exhibitors. |
