In July 2010, in order to accommodate growth in the business and the continuous improvement of our technology offering we made these investments.

In April 2010 we were delighted to show the Mayor of Oroshaza, Bela Nemeth, around our facility. Here he is speaking to some members of the team.

In December 2009 Patrick Doherty presents the first (Hungarian) Employee of the Year Award to Mihaly Togyi. Well done Mihaly, he has been with us since day one in Hungary - in November 1998.

In October 2009 we visited the EMO machine tool fair in Milan. This was an excellent opportunity to meet our current machine tool partners and discuss what new technology we can expect in the future.

In July 2009 the local fire service did some practice “drills” on our site to ensure that Doherty Hungary and the fire service were properly prepared if were to have a fire. There was certainly no shortage of equipment deployed.

In March 2009 we took delivery of our third induction hardening machine.

In July Doherty Hungary Kft took delivery of 3 new Citizen K16's and 1 new Citizen L32 turning machine.

At the "Doherty Family Day" this year Doherty Hungary Kft celebrated it's 10 year anniversary.

Every year Doherty Hungary hold a summer party as a thank you to all the staff and friends of the company who have worked to support us throughout the year.
